Hello everyone! I'm back in York from Greece. I have a suntan dammit. Some things just won't stop til they get you. I mean, I've spent goodness knows how many years of my life in Singapore, managing somehow to avoid being burnt by the tropical sunshine. Then, I go to Greece for a month and the inescapable Mediterranean sun gets me. Anyway, what I have is a farmer's tan (brown arms, legs, face and neck) because the sky would have to turn pink before I bow to peer-pressure and start tanning myself on the beach in a bikini. Opps! The sky did turn pink on several occassions around sunset time. But no, I did not run around in a bikini. Bleah.

I also went to my first nightclub. Wow! How many people can say that their first club was a Greek nightclub? (other than Greeks of course. You think I'm stupid?) It was peer pressure and not wanting to ruin people's mood that led to the sad situation of Audrey sitting miserably in Quasar-Bar and Club, coughing and suffocating from cigarette smoke. I was also nauseated by the bass of the music (emabarassingly, throbbing bass makes me feel like throwing up cos it messes with the inner ear). People all around were pressuring me to drink alcohol and dance. I didn't dance. And to be polite to a very insistant girl, I took a teeny weeny 3ml sip of some reddish-orange thing that tasted like fruit juice, only bitter. It was horrible and I had to borrow someone's coke (cola that you drink, not powder that you snort) to take away the taste. Eurgh! Someone finally took pity on me and I was driven back to the school which was home for a month at 2.30am.

I will post more stuff as I recollect the events and hopefully not be too lazy to post the pictures.
